The Nightmare City of Dr. Satan

This was created during the Weird Tales Shadowdark Game Jam (2024)For the inspiration we used aspects of all three coversDoctor Satan, Priestess of the Labyrinth, and The Third Cry to LegbaRight away Doctor Satan had to be our antagonist, it’s hard to pass up on that aspect, and we wanted to make him a weird Dr. Frankenstein-esque villain as well. The Princess of the Labyrinth helped give us another character, as well as the initial inspiration for the dungeon itself.Finally The Third Cry to Legba was visually very interesting, so we wanted to incorporate the visual somehow in our adventure. As well as some nods to Papa Legba.
