The Chimera's Gift

Secreted away on a remote island, a cult of naturalists slowly lost their minds in the heat of the jungle. Locking themselves away in a temple of their own design, they focused all of their science and magic on bringing about something that should not be!

The Chimera’s Gift was created for the Weird Tales Shadowdark Game Jam 2024. It is a level 2-3 Shadowdark RPG adventure inspired by the cover for Weird Tales January 1940 issue, with its cover story Spotted Satan.

Intrepid players can expect a thrilling dungeon crawl through a temple full of foul creatures and bizarre instruments of madness. What they find inside could bring them great riches – if they escape with their lives!

Includes a 31 room dungeon, 7 new monsters specifically designed for the adventure, and a new magic item. No A.I. art or writing was used in the creation of this product.
